HVAC Technicians / Refrigeration Engineers We're looking for experienced HVAC Technicians and Refrigeration Engineers to join our client's team based in Te Awamutu. This is a hands-on role offering a great mix of residential, commercial, and agricultural work across the Waikato region. If you enjoy fault-finding, servicing, maintenance, and installation work in a variety of environments, this is an opportunity to join a respected company that values quality workmanship and reliability.
Location: Te Awamutu, Waikato
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $28–$38 per hour, depending on experience, weekly pay
What You'll Be Doing

• Fault-finding, servicing, and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Carrying out residential HVAC maintenance and repairs
• Installing commercial HVAC systems, including ducting, units, and associated components
• Installing, servicing, and repairing commercial and agricultural refrigeration equipment
• Responding to breakdowns and completing preventative maintenance
• Working with refrigeration controls, compressors, cooling equipment, and HVAC systems
• Reading and interpreting plans and technical drawings
• Completing work safely and to a high standard across a variety of sites

What We're Looking For Ideally you'll have one or more of the following:

• Previous HVAC installation, servicing, or maintenance experience
• Commercial and/or agricultural refrigeration experience
• Qualified Refrigeration Engineer or relevant HVAC qualification
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full Class 1 driver's licence and reliable transport
• Physically fit with a strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
