Hiab Driver (Class 4 / Class 5)

We’re on the lookout for an experienced Class 4 or Class 5 Hiab Driver to join a busy Dunedin-based operation delivering building materials across the Otago region. This is a hands-on role offering solid hours, ongoing training, and the chance to work with a well-established business.

Already have your truck licence but wanting to move into Hiab work? Training opportunities may also be available for the right person.

Location: Mosgiel, Dunedin
Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: $34–$41 per hour depending on experience + weekly pay

About the role:

• Deliver building materials, including frames and trusses, throughout the Otago region
• Operate a Hiab crane safely and efficiently
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery sites
• Complete vehicle and delivery checks/reporting
• Monday to Friday work with 45+ hours per week

What we’re looking for:

• Full Class 4 or Class 5 licence
• Solid truck driving experience
• Hiab experience preferred but not essential
• Hiab ticket or willingness to obtain one
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Clean MOJ record
• Two recent, contactable references
