Pay Rate: $28–$32 per hour, depending on experience

Tradestaff is looking for experienced Hammerhands in Gisborne ready to get stuck into residential and commercial projects across the region.
We’ve got work ready to go now. If you’re confident on the tools, know your way around a construction site, and can put in a solid day’s work, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Assisting qualified builders on residential and commercial sites
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling building materials
  • Supporting framing, formwork, fit-out, and general carpentry work
  • Using hand and power tools safely and confidently
  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials around site
  • Keeping work areas tidy and helping with site preparation
  • Following site instructions and health & safety requirements
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous Hammerhand or solid construction experience
  • Residential and/or commercial building experience
  • Confident using common hand and power tools
  • Own basic hand tools
  • Good understanding of construction site safety
  • Physically fit and able to handle a full day on the tools
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with the crew
  • A solid work ethic and a get-stuck-in attitude
