What You'll Be Doing
- Assist carpenters with framing, formwork and structural carpentry
- Prepare materials and tools for daily site activities
- Read and work from basic plans and site instructions
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Carry out site preparation, clean-up and material handling
- Support concrete preparation and general construction work where required
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised worksite
- Work closely with site teams to keep projects running smoothly
- Previous Hammerhand or construction site experience
- Experience on commercial, civil or residential construction projects
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Own basic tools and reliable transport
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Site Safe passport preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
- Reliable, hardworking and a positive team player
- Strong commitment to health and safety
