General/Skilled Labourer

We have a unique opportunity available for a construction labourer/Skilled or Hammerhand with a strong and reputable company who are looking for a helping hand on site to help complete a fit-out of a commercial building and learn a few new skills along the way in Gisborne.

The job is on-going and the work is at all stages from set out, to framing to final fix/finishing work and it has the opportunity to go for longer than the timeframe.

What do we need from you to be successful for this role?

• Passion for learning in construction
• Preferable with at least 1 year+ experience in a similar industry
• A great work ethic and reliability
• Attention to detail
• The ability and confidence to complete the job to a high standard
• The skills to produce consistent high-quality work
• The ability to follow the supervisor’s direction and open to learning
