General Labourer
Tradestaff is looking for a reliable General Labourer to join construction projects across Taupo. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, can get stuck into a range of site tasks, and wants to build further experience in the construction industry.

Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $25–$27 per hour + weekly pay

Tradestaff is looking for a reliable General Labourer to join construction projects across Taupo. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, can get stuck into a range of site tasks, and wants to build further experience in the construction industry.

Pay rate: $25–$27 per hour + weekly pay
What You'll Be Doing
- Assist tradespeople with day-to-day construction tasks
- Complete general site clean-up and remove building waste
- Move, load, and organise materials around the worksite
- Help with basic site preparation and set-up
- Use basic hand and power tools where appropriate
- Keep accessways and work areas clear and organised
- Follow site instructions and health and safety procedures
- Full driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Previous construction site experience is desired
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on labouring work
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Able to work safely and follow instructions on active construction sites
- Contactable work references
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Potential for a long-term job opportunity
- Exposure to a variety of construction projects
- Opportunity to develop practical construction skills
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople
- PPE provided where required
