General Labourer
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join a busy crew in Christchurch. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work, works well as part of a team, and is happy to get stuck into a variety of tasks on site.

Location: Christchurch
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $25–$26 per hour – paid weekly

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting trades and site crews with a range of general labouring duties
• Moving, loading, and unloading materials and equipment around site
• Completing general site clean-up and keeping work areas safe and tidy
• Helping with basic site preparation and other hands-on tasks as required
• Following instructions from supervisors and working efficiently with the wider crew
• Following all site health and safety procedures throughout the day

To be successful, you’ll need

• A good level of physical fitness and confidence completing hands-on work
• A reliable attitude and strong work ethic
• A full NZ driver’s licence and your own reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Two recent working references
• Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a positive approach to the job
• A strong awareness of workplace health and safety
• Flexibility to help with a variety of tasks as required
