Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $38–$46 per hour + weekly pay

About the Role:

As a Level 4 Water Serviceman, you'll play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of potable water reticulation networks. Working alongside a supportive team, you'll deliver high-quality outcomes across a variety of civil infrastructure projects while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain water mains and service connections
  • Complete water main renewals and new reticulation installations
  • Locate and repair water leaks
  • Install and replace valves, hydrants, meters, and associated fittings
  • Carry out shutdowns, isolations, and reinstatement of water services
  • Read and interpret plans and utility service drawings
  • Operate excavators and other plant where required
  • Complete quality assurance and maintenance documentation
  • Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times
  • Liaise professionally with clients, councils, and members of the public
What We're Looking For
  • NZQA Level 4 National Certificate in Water Reticulation (or equivalent)
  • Water Serviceman Articulated qualification
  • Proven experience working on potable water reticulation networks
  • Competent in water main installations, repairs, and maintenance
  • Ability to read plans and work independently
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Full Class 1 driver's licence
  • Class 2 licence, WTR endorsements, and confined space or gas detection tickets are advantageous
