Location: Various sites across New Zealand, including Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Queenstown and regional areas

What you’ll be doing:

• Machining, fitting, and assembling mechanical components to specification
• Precision fitting, alignment, and installation of machinery and equipment
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Using lathes, milling machines, and other machining equipment
• Fault finding, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards

 
What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Fitter Turner or Mechanical Fitter in industrial or engineering environments
• Relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship (preferred)
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks (drug test and criminal history check)
• Recent work references
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to safety
