Fitter/Welder – Rotorua $32–$38 per hour | Full-Time | Immediate Start
Are you a skilled Fitter/Welder looking for your next opportunity? We're seeking an experienced and reliable tradesperson to join a well-established engineering company in Rotorua. This is a hands-on role working on a variety of fabrication, maintenance, and installation projects with the potential for long-term work.
What You'll Be Doing

• Fabricating and welding steel components to a high standard.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Fitting, assembling, and installing fabricated components.
• Carrying out repairs and maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Using a variety of workshop tools and fabrication equipment.
• Working safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Fitter/Welder.
• Strong MIG welding skills (TIG and ARC experience advantageous).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Full Class 1 driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
