Fitter Welder
We’re looking for a skilled Fitter Welder to join a busy South Auckland team. This hands-on role offers variety, combining welding, fitting, turning, and preventative maintenance to keep plant machinery and equipment operating at peak performance.

What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance on plant machinery
- Dismantling, inspecting, and reassembling conveyors and rotating equipment
- Precision fitting, turning, and machining components to tolerance
- Welding and fabrication repairs using TIG, MIG, and Stick techniques
- Diagnosing faults, troubleshooting breakdowns, and implementing repairs
- Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Following maintenance schedules and completing service reports accurately
- Supporting and mentoring safe work practices within the team
- Proven experience in welding, fitting, and turning
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and rotating equipment
- Knowledge of TIG, MIG, and Stick welding techniques
- Commitment to safety and delivering high-quality workmanship
- Level 4 Trade Certificate
