Mechanical Fitter – Short-Term Assignment

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a short-term assignment based in Hamilton. This role is expected to run through until the end of August and offers consistent hours with a well-established client.


About the Role
You will be involved in the maintenance, assembly, installation, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery. This position would suit someone with a strong mechanical fitting background who can hit the ground running and work independently.


What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter
• Trade qualification preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience with assembly, maintenance, and repair work
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well within a team
• Full Class 1 driver's licence
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
