Fitter
We're looking for an experienced Fitter to join a busy engineering team in Cambridge. This is a hands-on role offering a variety of workshop and site-based work, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
If you have strong mechanical aptitude, experience working from engineering drawings, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

About the Role As a Fitter, you'll play a key role in supporting workshop operations. You'll be involved in the repair, servicing, assembly, alignment, installation, and maintenance of engineering and mechanical components while ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.

About the Role As a Fitter, you'll play a key role in supporting workshop operations. You'll be involved in the repair, servicing, assembly, alignment, installation, and maintenance of engineering and mechanical components while ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with workshop repairs, servicing, and maintenance activities
- Assemble, align, install, and repair metal components
- Read and interpret engineering specifications, blueprints, and drawings
- Carry out mechanical assembly and fitting tasks
- Perform maintenance and repair work on engineering components
- Work both in the workshop and on-site as required
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Support general engineering and construction-related activities
- Previous fitting or mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Full Class 1 driver's licence
- Strong commitment to health and safety practices
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Site Safe
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform)
