Tradestaff is looking for experienced Fabricator Welders for immediate-start workshop opportunities in Patumahoe.
We're after people who know structural steel – confident working from engineering drawings, fabricating and fitting steel components, and producing quality MIG welds.
You'll need to be capable of working accurately and safely in a busy workshop environment from day one.
Location: Patumahoe, Auckland
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $35.00 per hour (Weekly pay)

What's In It For You?

- Monday–Friday workshop hours

- Quality structural steel fabrication projects
- Work alongside an experienced workshop team
- MIG weld and fabricate structural steel components
- Work with 200–230mm Parallel Flange Channel (PFC)
- Read and accurately work from engineering drawings
- Measure, cut, fit and assemble structural steel
- Produce accurate fabrication and quality welds
- Work safely and efficiently as part of the workshop team
- Proven structural steel fabrication experience
- Strong, demonstrable MIG welding skills
- Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Relevant MIG/structural steel welding tickets are highly regarded; proven welding experience will also be considered
- Physically fit and capable of safely carrying out hands-on structural steel fabrication work throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a workshop team
- Strong attention to detail, workmanship and safe working practices
