Welder Fabricator
Tradestaff Wellington is looking for experienced Welder Fabricators to join a busy and growing workshop team in Wellington.
This is a hands-on role focused on MIG and TIG welding, fabrication, and occasional site installation work.

What You'll Be Doing
- MIG and TIG welding on a variety of steel, stainless, and aluminium projects
- General fabrication and light engineering work
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Cutting, shaping, fitting, and assembling metal components
- Completing routine maintenance and safety checks
- Maintaining high workshop quality standards
- Assisting with occasional site installations
- Travelling outside the region when required
- Overnight stays at times with transport provided
- Strong fabrication and general engineering experience
- Proven MIG and TIG welding skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings accurately
- Experience working with structural steel, stainless, or aluminium
- Manufacturing or production workshop background
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Solid understanding of workshop health & safety
- Reliable workers who take pride in quality work
