Fabricator/Welder Wanted – Build Your Next Career Move with Tradestaff
Tradestaff Christchurch is on the lookout for experienced Fabricator/Welders to join some of Canterbury's most respected engineering and manufacturing companies.

Location: Christchurch
Pay Rate: $35–$40 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

What You'll Be Doing

• MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding across a variety of projects
• Fabricating structural steel, components, and custom assemblies
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Cutting, grinding, fitting, and preparing materials
• Producing high-quality work to workshop specifications
• Maintaining a safe and productive work environment

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of fabrication and welding experience
• Strong MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding skills
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
• Pride in producing quality workmanship
• Reliable, motivated, and safety-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant welding tickets or trade qualifications are advantageous
