Workshop-Based Role | $34-$35 Per Hour | Ongoing Opportunity

A major new project is about to get underway, and we're looking for an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join a busy and growing workshop team in South Auckland.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication work and wants the stability of a workshop-based role with consistent hours.
You'll be involved in producing high-quality fabricated components that will play a key role in a significant upcoming installation project.

If you take pride in your workmanship, can read plans confidently, and enjoy seeing a project come together from the ground up, we'd like to hear from you.

Location: South Auckland
Start Date: Immediate start available
Pay Rate: $34-$35 per hour | Weekly pay

What You'll Be Doing
  • MIG welding on fabrication projects
  • Fabricating structural and custom metal components
  • Reading and interpreting plans and workshop drawings
  • Preparing materials and components to specification
  • Working closely with the workshop team to meet project deadlines
  • Ensuring high standards of quality and workmanship
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
  • Proven fabrication and welding experience
  • Strong MIG welding skills
  • Current welding tickets/certifications preferred
  • Flux core welding experience highly regarded
  • Ability to confidently read and interpret plans and blueprints
  • High attention to detail and pride in your work
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
  • Strong commitment to health and safety
