MIG Welder Fabricator
We are looking for an experienced MIG Welder Fabricator to join a busy and modern workshop servicing the Cambridge / Matamata area.
This is a hands-on role working on truck bodies, chassis components, and custom fabrication projects within a supportive team environment.

What you’ll be doing:
- Fabricating, assembling, and welding truck bodies, chassis components, and custom parts
- Performing MIG welding on galvanized and mild carbon steel
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints
- Measuring, cutting, grinding, and shaping metal to precise dimensions
- Fitting and installing components including toolboxes, decks, guards, brackets, and frames
- Carrying out repairs, servicing, and assembly work
- Maintaining high quality and safety standards at all times
- Proven MIG welding experience
- Strong fabrication background
- Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings
- Full Class 1 licence
- Forklift ticket highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
