Welder Fabricator
Tradestaff Hawke’s Bay is looking for experienced Welder Fabricators to join a busy and growing workshop team in Hastings.
This is a hands-on role offering a great mix of fabrication, CNC operation, welding, and occasional off-site installation work.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Workshop fabrication and manufacturing work
- Operating CNC Router and Press Brake machinery
- Welding, sheet metal, and light engineering tasks
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Completing routine maintenance and safety checks
- Material handling and quality component production
- Maintaining high workshop quality standards
- Assisting with occasional site installations
- Travelling outside the region when required
- Overnight stays at times with transport provided
- Strong fabrication and general engineering experience
- Good welding knowledge and practical workshop skills
- CNC machinery operating experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings accurately
- Manufacturing or production workshop background
- Strong communication and problem-solving ability
- Solid understanding of workshop health & safety
- Reliable workers who take pride in quality work
