Join a leading civil contractor as an experienced STMS and help deliver Wellington's major infrastructure, roading, and utilities projects.
Location: Wellington
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise traffic management crews on site
- Implement and monitor Temporary Traffic Management Plans (TTMPs)
- Complete site audits, inspections, and compliance documentation
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and site teams
- Maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and public safety
- Ensure all traffic management activities meet current industry standards
- Current STMS qualification (Category A/B or Universal preferred)
- Proven experience leading traffic management on civil construction projects
- Full Class 1 Driver Licence (Class 2 advantageous)
- Strong understanding of NZTA/COPTTM or NZGTTM requirements
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Weekly pay
