About the Role
As a Qualified Solar Electrician, you'll be responsible for installing commercial and residential solar systems while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role involves travelling between sites and working as part of a professional installation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install commercial and residential solar panel systems
- Read and interpret electrical and installation plans
- Complete high-quality solar installations to industry standards
- Travel between commercial and residential project sites
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety while delivering quality workmanship
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- Current NZ Electrical Registration and practising licence
- Proven experience installing commercial and residential solar systems
- Full Class 1 driver's licence
- Working at Heights certification
- EWP/MEWP licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Competitive pay of $40–$45 per hour (PAYE)
