Qualified Electrician

Location: Morrinsville, Waikato
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $38-40/hour
What you’ll be doing:
- Installing wiring, outlets, switches, and lighting systems in residential properties
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans and layouts
- Wiring new builds and completing renovation work
- Installing switchboards, circuit breakers, and RCDs
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and maintenance
- Performing safety checks and upgrading outdated systems
- Ensuring all work meets NZ electrical standards and regulations
- Testing installations and completing Certificates of Compliance
- Working across multiple sites and coordinating with other trades
- Communicating with homeowners and delivering professional service
- Maintaining tools, managing materials, and keeping accurate records
- EWRB registered Electrician
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in New Zealand
- Strong residential experience across installs and maintenance
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Clean criminal record
- Good communication skills and a solid work ethic
- Weekly pay
