Electrical Supervisor

Electrician / Foreman
We’re looking for an experienced Electrician / Foreman to lead and deliver a range of residential and commercial electrical projects, including heat pump installations, across Christchurch Central City.

Location: Christchurch Central City
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $40– $50 per hour, paid weekly

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading and overseeing electrical projects from start to finish
• Carrying out residential and commercial electrical installations and maintenance
• Installing and commissioning heat pump systems
• Reading and interpreting plans, specifications, and electrical drawings
• Supervising and supporting team members on site
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard
• Managing day-to-day site operations and coordinating workflow
• Maintaining strong health and safety practices across all work

What we’re looking for:

• EWRB Registered Electrician with a current practising licence
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a qualified electrician
• Proven experience in a Foreman or supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to manage projects and work independently
• Experience across residential and commercial electrical work
• Solid understanding of heat pump installation (highly regarded)
• Reliable, organised, and quality-focused
