Delivery Driver

Hello delivery drivers! Tradestaff are looking for a reliable, hardworking driver for our client based in Hornby Christchurch.

Our client is looking for a bubbly and outgoing driver for their class one truck! Full small vehicle licence required, ability to drive a manual.

The role is to do the metro area for customer orders and same day delivery.

This is a fun environment and a team who values their colleagues. Most deliveries you will have an offsider and delivery assistant to help with your deliveries. Use of an RF Scanner required. 

Hours are roughly 7-5 depending on how where you are delivering to! Great way to earn some good cash! 

This position would suit someone who is fit, loves building relationships and has a keen eye for product detail.

Skills and Experience you need - 

• Must have a clean Class 1 Drivers License
• Previous experience in a role with customer service
• Be physically fit and healthy to carry out lifting duties
• Use your initiative and be pro-active
• Be reliable and punctual with clear communication skills
• Must have reliable transport whether that is own vehicle or public transport
• 2 work references
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Legally entitled to work in NZ
