About the Role As aComminution Operator, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of the crushing and grinding circuit, ensuring consistent plant performance and supporting gold production targets.
Working closely with the Processing, Maintenance and Metallurgical teams, you'll help optimise plant performance while maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor crushing, grinding and conveying circuits

• Start up, shut down and inspect comminution equipment safely

• Monitor plant performance and make operational adjustments

• Identify and report equipment faults or process issues

• Complete routine inspections and housekeeping activities

• Assist with plant isolations, maintenance and shutdowns

• Maintain accurate operational records and shift reports

• Work collaboratively with Maintenance and Metallurgical teams

• Ensure compliance with site procedures and safety standards

• Promote a positive safety culture across the operation

About You To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Previous experience operating crushing, grinding or mineral processing plant

• Experience within gold, base metals, quarrying or heavy industrial processing environments

• Sound understanding of comminution circuits and plant operations

• Current Driver Licence

• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental performance

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A proactive attitude and commitment to operational excellence

Desirable

• Previous experience in underground gold or metalliferous mining operations

• Experience operating SAG mills, ball mills, crushers and conveying systems

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Front-end loader or forklift licences

• Additional processing plant or mining qualifications
