CNC Operator
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join a busy architectural timber operation in Te Rapa, Hamilton. This is a great opportunity for someone confident with CNC machinery who has experience with cutting and grooving and is familiar with Mach3 and ArtCAM software.

Pay rate: $28–$34 per hour
What you'll be doing
- Operating CNC machinery to cut, shape, drill and groove architectural timber components
- Loading, positioning and safely handling timber and finished products
- Reading and interpreting drawings, measurements and CNC job specifications
- Setting up machinery, selecting tooling and making required adjustments
- Checking finished components for accuracy, dimensions, quality and defects
- Carrying out basic machine maintenance, cleaning and tooling changes
- Following production schedules, machine safety procedures and workplace health and safety requirements
- Previous CNC operating experience
- Confident carrying out cutting and grooving work
- Familiarity with Mach3 software
- Familiarity with ArtCAM CAD/CAM software
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and measurements
- Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
- A safety-conscious and reliable approach to work
- 4-day working week
