CNC Machine Operator
Tradestaff is looking for a reliable CNC Machine Operator to join a busy joinery production environment in Christchurch. This is a practical machine-operating role suited to someone who enjoys hands-on work, can follow instructions accurately, and wants to build further experience in joinery manufacturing.

Location:
Christchurch, Christchurch
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $27–$30 per hour + weekly pay

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate a CNC machine for day-to-day joinery production
  • Load and position materials ready for machining
  • Run pre-programmed jobs and follow production instructions
  • Monitor the machine throughout each production cycle
  • Check finished components for accuracy and quality
  • Handle materials and completed pieces safely
  • Keep the machine and surrounding work area clean and organised
What We're Looking For
  • Previous CNC operating, joinery, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
  • Comfortable working with machinery in a production environment
  • Able to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
  • Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
  • Strong awareness of workplace health and safety
  • Able to work effectively as part of a production team
