CNC Machine Operator
We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company seeking a reliable operator to join their busy workshop. If you have experience operating CNC machinery and enjoy producing quality work, we'd love to hear from you.

Location: Kaiapoi, Christchurch
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $32–$35 per hour (depending on experience)

About The Role

• Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision-engineered components
• Work with Fanuc and Okuma control systems (experience preferred)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet specifications
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area

What we're looking for

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery (programming not required)
• Milling experience on larger CNC machines is highly desirable
• Experience with Fanuc and/or Okuma controls is an advantage
• Willingness to learn and operate larger CNC machines
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Full Class 1 driver's licence
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
