CNC Operator
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join a busy joinery manufacturer, producing high-quality components for residential and commercial projects.

Location: Addington, Christchurch
Start date: Immediate
Pay rate: $32 – $40 per hour (depending on experience), paid weekly

What you’ll be doing:

• Setting up and operating CNC machinery to accurately produce high-quality joinery components
• Interpreting detailed drawings and plans to ensure precise manufacturing outcomes
• Cutting, shaping, and machining materials for cabinetry and custom joinery projects
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments to maintain efficiency and accuracy
• Carrying out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment
• Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines and workflow targets
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and a clean, safe workshop environment

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator (ideally in joinery or cabinetry)
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Physically fit and able to work in a workshop environment
