Class 5 Driver

We are currently looking for an experienced Class 5 Driver for a 6-week assignment starting next week (exact start date to be confirmed).
This role is based out of Kenepuru, Porirua, working within the civil construction sector, with solid hours and the potential for ongoing opportunities for the right driver.
What’s on offer:

• 6-week assignment with immediate start pending confirmation
• Potential for further work opportunities for the right candidate
• Monday to Friday work
• Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm
• Occasional Saturday work available
• Operating a 10-yarder automatic truck
• Truck & trailer work within civil construction projects

What we’re looking for:

• Full Class 5 licence
• Experience operating truck & trailer units
• Confident with jack knifing
• Previous tipper experience with trailer essential
• Civil construction or bulk cartage experience preferred
• WTR endorsements are a bonus
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently

Duties include:

• Operating tipper truck and trailer safely and efficiently
• Transporting and tipping civil construction materials and equipment
• Daily vehicle checks and maintenance reporting
• Working closely with site teams and dispatch
• Supporting civil crews where required
