Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $32-$38 per hour, depending on experience | Weekly pay

About the Role As a Hydro Vac Driver, you'll be responsible for safely operating hydro excavation equipment and supporting a range of excavation and civil projects throughout the Dunedin region. This is a hands-on role that combines driving, equipment operation, and working alongside experienced site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a hydro excavation truck safely and efficiently
• Excavating around underground services and utilities
• Completing daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Working closely with site supervisors and crews
• Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork
• Following company policies, procedures, and site rules at all times
• Contributing to a safe and productive work environment

What We're Looking For

• Full NZ Class 4 or Class 5 Licence
• WTR endorsements (advantageous where required)
• Previous hydro excavation or civil construction experience
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and capable of assisting with manual tasks when required
• Proven reliability and a strong work ethic
