Class 4 Hiab Drivers Wanted, Waikato
Got your Class 4 licence, a current Hiab ticket and solid experience operating truck-mounted cranes?

Tradestaff Waikato is looking for experienced Class 4 Hiab Drivers who can safely load, transport and deliver a variety of products across different sites and locations.

You’ll work across a variety of Tradestaff clients throughout the Waikato. Assignments may involve delivering construction materials, equipment and other products to commercial, industrial and construction sites.

These roles are about more than driving. You’ll be dealing directly with customers, coordinating deliveries and safely operating a Hiab, so we’re looking for people who are professional, practical and confident on site.

What you could be doing:

• Driving Class 4 vehicles across the Waikato
• Operating Hiab truck-mounted cranes safely and confidently
• Loading, securing, transporting and unloading products
• Delivering to construction, commercial and industrial sites
• Positioning loads safely and accurately
• Completing vehicle and equipment pre-start checks
• Communicating with customers and site teams
• Completing delivery paperwork and following site procedures
• Providing friendly and professional customer service

What we’re looking for:

• Current Class 4 NZ Driver Licence
• Current Hiab ticket or recognised truck-mounted crane certification
• Proven Hiab operating experience
• Confident loading, securing and unloading different types of loads
• Good knowledge of safe load handling and transport practices
• Strong driving and site safety awareness
• Reliable, practical and able to work independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working across different clients, sites and locations
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• A strong commitment to Health & Safety

Even better if you have:

• Current Forklift OSH Certificate
• F endorsement on your NZ Driver Licence
• Previous construction, civil, freight or building supply delivery experience
