Pay rate: $25–$28 per hour + weekly pay
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist civil crews with earthworks and site preparation
- Support drainage, trenching and infrastructure work
- Move and prepare materials, tools and equipment
- Use hand and power tools for practical site tasks
- Work safely around excavators, trucks and other heavy machinery
- Complete site set-up and general labouring duties
- Help keep work areas organised and projects moving efficiently
- Previous civil construction experience
- Good understanding of how active civil sites operate
- Confidence using common hand and power tools
- Physically fit and capable of completing manual work
- Strong awareness of site health and safety
- Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
- Reliable attitude and ability to work effectively within a crew
- Potential for ongoing work
- Variety across civil and infrastructure projects
- Opportunity to build on your existing civil construction experience
- Gain exposure to different areas of earthworks and site operations
- Work alongside experienced operators and civil crews
- PPE provided where required
- Support from the Tradestaff Rotorua team throughout your assignment
