Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience

Looking for your next civil role in Wanaka? Tradestaff Queenstown is looking for a capable Civil Works Labourer who is currently based in Wanaka to join a crew working on civil construction projects throughout the local area.
Location: Wanaka, Otago
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience
What you'll be doing
- Carrying out hands-on labouring across civil construction sites
- Assisting crews with drainage installation and trench work
- Preparing and levelling ground for roading and site works
- Placing and compacting gravel, aggregate and other materials
- Working safely around excavators, rollers and other machinery
- Helping with site set-up, materials and general ground support
- Must be currently based in Wanaka
- Full Class 1 driver licence – required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Civil, construction or similar labouring experience preferred
- Physically fit and ready for hands-on outdoor work
- Dependable with a strong focus on site safety
- WTR endorsements are a bonus
- Site Safe or other relevant tickets are an advantage
- Weekly pay
