Location: Cromwell, Otago
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with earthworks, drainage and roading projects across Cromwell
- Preparing sites for excavation, trenching and drainage work
- Spreading, levelling and compacting aggregate and other materials
- Spotting and working safely around excavators, loaders and other machinery
- Supporting operators with groundworks and general site tasks
- Helping keep sites organised, safe and running efficiently
- Full Class 1 driver licence – required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Previous civil, construction or outdoor labouring experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on outdoor work
- Reliable and safety focused
- WTR endorsements are a bonus
- Site Safe and other relevant tickets are an advantage
