Location: Queenstown Central, Queenstown
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience

Looking for a hands-on civil role where you can get stuck in and build your experience? Tradestaff Queenstown is looking for a reliable Civil Works Labourer to join a local crew working across earthworks, drainage and roading projects around Queenstown.
Location: Queenstown Central, Queenstown
Start date: Immediate start available
Pay rate: $27–$30 per hour, depending on experience
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with earthworks, trenching and drainage preparation
- Shovelling, raking and compacting soil and aggregate
- Preparing ground and work areas for roading and civil works
- Spotting for excavators, loaders and other machinery
- Assisting machine operators and civil crews on site
- Moving materials, setting up work areas and keeping sites clear
- Following site health and safety procedures around operating machinery
- Full Class 1 driver licence – required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Previous civil, construction or outdoor labouring experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Reliable with a good attitude towards health and safety
- WTR endorsements are a bonus
- Site Safe and other relevant tickets are an advantage
