Civil Works Labourer

We’re on the lookout for reliable Civil Labourers to join our client on a major local infrastructure project kicking off in the Ōtaki/Levin region.
This is your opportunity to get involved in a large-scale civil construction project, supporting experienced crews and contributing to essential infrastructure that will benefit the local community for years to come.

• Immediate start available
• Full-time work, Monday to Friday
• Usual hours 7:00am – 5:00pm (may vary depending on project needs)

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting machine operators and civil crews on site
• General labouring including digging, trenching, and backfilling
• Assisting with drainage, site prep, and groundworks
• Moving materials and maintaining a tidy, safe worksite
• Spotting for machinery and working around live services
• Following instructions and contributing to overall site productivity
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety on a live construction site

What we’re looking for:

• Previous civil or construction labouring experience highly advantageous
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Physically fit and capable of manual work
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Good awareness of health & safety

Bonus points if you have:

• WTR endorsements
• Class 1 (or higher) licence
• Site Safe or relevant tickets
