Tradestaff Tauranga is looking for an experienced Moxy Operator to join a busy civil construction project in the Tauranga area.

This is a hands-on operating role for someone who is confident behind the controls, understands working around other machinery and people, and takes pride in keeping a site moving safely and efficiently.

Location: Tauranga, Bay of Plenty
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience

What you'll be doing

• Operating a Moxy/dump truck safely and efficiently on civil sites
• Loading, transporting and tipping materials around site
• Completing daily machinery checks
• Working safely around excavators, loaders and other heavy machinery
• Following site plans, instructions and health and safety requirements
• Keeping the work area tidy and helping the wider civil crew when required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating a Moxy or articulated dump truck
• Confident and competent operating heavy machinery
• Relevant heavy machinery experience
• Reliable, punctual and ready to get stuck in
• Good understanding of site safety
• Able to work as part of a team
• Reliable transport to get to site
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
