Civil Machine Operators – Hamilton & Waikato

Tradestaff is looking for experienced Civil Machine Operators for upcoming projects across Hamilton and the wider Waikato.
We’re after reliable operators who are comfortable working across a range of machinery and are happy to get out of the cab and assist the crew when required.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating excavators, rollers, compactors and tractors
• Earthworks, site preparation and general civil works
• Trenching, backfilling and material placement
• Completing daily machinery checks
• Working safely around other plant and ground crews
• Assisting with general site duties when required

What We’re Looking For

• Full Class 1 & 2 NZ Driver Licences
• Current WTR endorsements
• Proven civil construction experience
• Experience operating a range of civil machinery
• Confident and competent working around active sites
• Reliable with a good attitude and strong work ethic
• Physically fit and willing to help outside the machine
• Able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
