Civil Construction Workers
Tradestaff is looking for experienced Civil Workers to join a range of projects across Hamilton. If you’ve got solid civil experience, a Class 2 licence and enjoy getting stuck into varied site work, we want to hear from you.
Location: Hamilton Central, Hamilton
Start date: Early September
Pay rate: $30–$34 per hour

Location: Hamilton Central, Hamilton
Start date: Early September
Pay rate: $30–$34 per hour
What you'll be doing
- Site preparation, general labouring, trenching and excavation work
- Laying stormwater, wastewater and drainage pipes, including installing manholes, catchpits and culverts
- Concrete preparation, pouring and finishing, plus kerb and channel work
- Road construction and maintenance, including backfilling, levelling and compacting materials
- Operating small plant and machinery and spotting for excavators and other heavy machinery
- Assisting with services, utilities and traffic management while maintaining safe work areas
- Loading and unloading materials, site clean-up and following site plans, instructions and health & safety procedures
- Full Class 2 licence – essential
- Previous civil construction or labouring experience
- WTR endorsement would be beneficial
- TMO experience and/or a current TMO ticket would be beneficial
- Comfortable working around plant, machinery and active civil sites
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Long hours available
- Variety of civil projects and site work

- Competitive pay rate of $30–$34 per hour
