Tradestaff Hamilton is recruiting for a busy civil sealing crew working across the Waikato. We have opportunities for an experienced Foreman, a Class 4 Driver / Bitumen Sprayer Operator, and Crew Members looking to build a long-term career in the civil industry.
Most work is based throughout the Waikato, with occasional stay-away work when required.

Sealing Crew Foreman
Lead a sealing crew and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the sealing crew.
- Coordinate daily site activities.
- Maintain health and safety standards.
- Monitor quality and productivity.
- Communicate with supervisors and clients.
- Previous sealing or roading experience.
- Experience leading a crew.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety.
- Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 or higher preferred).
You will be operating a bitumen sprayer, with driving and general crew support as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the bitumen truck safely and efficiently and carting material to and from site.
- Drive Class 4 vehicles to and from worksites.
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
- Assist the sealing crew when required.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
- Full NZ Class 4 licence with a current Dangerous Goods (DG) endorsement.
- Class 5 licence is an advantage.
- Bitumen sprayer experience is preferred but not essential.
- Previous sealing, civil, or roading experience.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and willing to work as part of the crew.
