This is a hands-on role where you'll construct formwork, structural concrete elements and bridge components that will become part of a significant civil development.

Working on a large-scale bridge project, you'll be responsible for constructing and installing formwork for reinforced concrete structures.
You'll work closely with site engineers, operators and construction teams to deliver high-quality structural work safely, efficiently and to specification.
What You'll Be Doing
- Construct and install formwork for bridge structures and reinforced concrete elements
- Build boxing, foundations, bridge abutments and structural concrete formwork
- Measure, cut and assemble timber and formwork systems from engineering drawings
- Assist with concrete pours, reinforcing preparation and structural builds
- Work alongside engineers, operators and site teams to achieve project milestones
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and site safety
- Carry out general carpentry duties across major civil infrastructure works
- NZ Trade Qualified Carpenter or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in civil, commercial or structural formwork carpentry
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and construction plans
- Experience constructing concrete formwork and structural components
- Physically fit and confident working in a busy construction environment
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Site Safe essential
- EWP, Working at Heights or other relevant civil tickets are advantageous
- Reliable, safety-focused and committed to delivering quality workmanship
