Civil Carpenter
We’re on the lookout for experienced Civil Carpenters to join a major bridge project just outside of Gisborne. This is your chance to be part of a large-scale civil site, working on infrastructure that makes a real difference.
Location: Gisborne, Gisborne
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $35–$36 per hour (weekly pay, on time every time)

We’re on the lookout for experienced Civil Carpenters to join a major bridge project just outside of Gisborne. This is your chance to be part of a large-scale civil site, working on infrastructure that makes a real difference.
Location: Gisborne, Gisborne
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $35–$36 per hour (weekly pay, on time every time)
What you’ll be doing:
- Formwork and boxing/shuttering for concrete structures
- Working on large-scale bridge construction projects
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling a range of building materials
- Preparing and laying foundations and flooring
- Mixing and pouring concrete
- Carrying out carpentry work, repairs, and structural work
- Operating a wide range of carpentry tools and equipment
- Working safely around plant and heavy machinery
- Qualified carpenter or equivalent experience
- Proven civil carpentry experience (bridge work essential)
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Site Safe (or willing to obtain)
- Own tools
- Reliable transport
- Work with a prestigious client on a major civil project
