DRAINLAYERS & PLUMBERS WANTED – WELLINGTON / LOWER HUTT
Tradestaff is seeking experienced Drainlayers and Plumbers for ongoing work on major civil and infrastructure projects across Wellington and Lower Hutt.
We’re looking for skilled workers who can operate confidently on busy civil construction sites and deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
• Installing stormwater, sewer, and watermain systems
• Pipe laying and drainage works
• Reading plans and setting out works
• Working around excavations and heavy machinery
• Testing and maintaining drainage systems
• Supporting civil construction crews on large-scale projects
Skills & experience required:
• Previous drainlaying or plumbing experience in civil construction
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Experience with underground services and pipe installation
• Strong understanding of site health & safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable transport and strong work ethic
Qualifications preferred:
• Certified or Registered Drainlayer and/or Plumber
• Site Safe Passport
• WTR endorsements an advantage
• Confined Space tickets beneficial
• Class 2 licence advantageous
