Tradestaff Canterbury are looking for carpet installers that have background knowledge and experience (but are not limited to) with the following;
 

• Read and interpret floor plans and prepare carpet accordingly
• Verify on site measurements with floor plans
• Prepare a variety of subfloors including working with floor grinders, levelling compounds and their floor preparation products to ensure suitability for floor coverings
• Install commercial and residential carpet accordingly to floor plans efficiently and accurately

 
Ideally, you will be or have:

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience
• Trade qualifications preferred however scope and length of carpet installer experience may substitute for the formal qualification
• Your own tools
• Own reliable transport
• At least 2 work references
• 100% commitment to Health & Safety
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Class 1 preferred but not essential
