Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Carpenter for upcoming Ministry of Education and light commercial projects across Auckland. You’ll be working across a varied mix of construction work, so we’re looking for someone with solid trade skills, reliable workmanship and the ability to get stuck in from day one.
Location: Auckland City, Auckland
Start date: In approximately 2 weeks
Pay rate: $32–$35 per hour + weekly pay

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Carpenter for upcoming Ministry of Education and light commercial projects across Auckland. You’ll be working across a varied mix of construction work, so we’re looking for someone with solid trade skills, reliable workmanship and the ability to get stuck in from day one.
Location: Auckland City, Auckland

Pay rate: $32–$35 per hour + weekly pay
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out carpentry work across Ministry of Education projects
- Work on a range of light commercial construction sites
- Complete renovation and alteration work
- Assist with recladding and remediation projects
- Complete framing, fixing and general carpentry
- Read plans and work accurately to specifications
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety
- Proven carpentry experience across commercial or residential construction
- Strong all-round carpentry skills and quality workmanship
- Own carpentry tools
- Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport
- Ability to meet clean MOJ requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working as part of a site crew
- Potential for ongoing work
- Ministry of Education and light commercial projects
- Variety across renovations, recladding and new builds

- Work alongside experienced construction crews
