High End Finishing Carpenter

What you’ll be doing
- Complete high-end finishing carpentry, including detailed trims, mouldings and custom woodwork.
- Fit and hang doors, windows and architectural hardware with precision.
- Install custom cabinetry, shelving and built-in furniture.
- Carry out quality cladding installation and finishing.
- Scribe and fit timber accurately to walls, floors and other surfaces.
- Read and work from architectural plans, elevations and detailed drawings.
- Prepare and finish timber surfaces to a premium standard.
- A relevant NZ carpentry qualification.
- Proven experience in high-end finishing carpentry.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and drawings.
- EWP, Working at Heights (WAH) and Site Safe are advantageous.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- No criminal convictions.
- Competitive $35–$42 hourly rate depending on experience.
