Hamilton & WaikatoTradestaff Hamilton is looking for experienced Carpenters for a range of projects across Hamilton and the wider Waikato.
We’re after reliable tradies who can hit the ground running and work confidently across residential, commercial and construction projects.

Location: Hamilton & surrounding Waikato
Pay rate: Competitive rates based on experience

What you’ll be doing:

• General carpentry across residential and commercial projects
• Framing, flooring, cladding and finishing work
• Installing doors, windows, skirting and other fixtures
• Reading and working from plans and drawings
• Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and building materials
• Renovation, maintenance and new-build work
• Formwork and concrete-related carpentry where required
• Operating hand and power tools safely
• Working alongside other trades and site teams
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site safety

What we’re looking for:

• Proven carpentry experience
• Trade qualification or strong relevant experience
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
• Ability to read and interpret building plans
• Own basic hand tools
• Reliable transport and a valid driver licence preferred
• Good understanding of NZ construction and health and safety practices
• Reliable, hardworking and able to turn up ready to work
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
