Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Carpenter to join a local construction team working across projects in Cromwell and the wider Central Otago area.
With spring around the corner and building activity starting to ramp up, our client has a solid pipeline of work ahead and is looking for a capable Carpenter who can get on the tools and contribute from day one.

What you'll be doing
- Working across residential new builds, renovations and other construction projects
- Timber framing, including walls, floors and roof framing
- Installing doors, windows, cladding and exterior components
- Completing interior finishing work, including skirting and architraves
- Measuring, cutting and assembling materials accurately
- Reading and working from construction plans and specifications
- Working alongside builders, subcontractors and other trades on site
What we're looking for
- Qualified Carpenter or strong proven carpentry experience
- Good knowledge of NZ building practices
- Your own basic tools
- Reliable transport and a full driver's licence preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
