Working across a range of commercial construction projects, you'll carry out all aspects of carpentry while supporting the successful delivery of quality builds.
This is a varied role offering the opportunity to work across different stages of construction in a safe and professional environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carry out structural and general carpentry across commercial construction projects
- Complete framing, formwork, fit-out and finishing work
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
- Measure, cut and install timber and other building materials
- Assist with concrete formwork and structural works where required
- Work alongside site managers and other trades to meet project deadlines
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety
- Assist with general site duties as required
- NZ Trade Qualified Carpenter or equivalent experience
- Experience on commercial or residential construction projects
- Ability to confidently read and interpret plans and drawings
- Own tools and reliable transport
- Site Safe passport preferred
- EWP, Working at Heights or other relevant tickets are advantageous
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to quality workmanship
- Strong focus on health and safety
